Our Sept coffee morning had guest speaker Angie Budden, who demonstrated the art of cosmetic selection and application. Angie has returned to the estate she grew up in, and so there was a warm welcome for her. The first act was to select a volunteer who was going to be made over, and Mrs Eileen Twomey fulfilled that role well. In the process, we learned all about products such as serum, moisturiser, eye cream, hydration spray, primer, powder etc. Very complicated it seemed to me (as a man).
