Undeterred by the non-appearance of our transport, the residents chose to get to Scott’s in Killarney by any means possible, and in any weather. This meant the 208 followed by the number 40 to Tralee. Scott’s provided us with a fine Christmas menu and although we had no time for the games or much shopping, we will have something lined up in 2026. We returned to Curraheen in the dark, and in the knowledge that we kept the tradition going for another year.
